The Career Start program offers graduates (bachelor or advanced university degree) the ideal platform to prove themselves. Whilst certainly structured, Career Start at Credit Suisse requires you to develop your own initiative, and thus to truly prepare you for a fast-moving financial career. Lasting from 12 to 18 months, the program acts as a bridge between the challenges of direct entry and the more systematic approach of a traineeship. The program is tailored to the individual abilities and personal aims of each graduate, and provides a focused context in which you can prepare yourself for a future role, while at the same time encouraging your personal initiative. You’ll be involved in real work from day one – work that will see you gaining targeted and relevant on-the-job training for the first eight to 12 months. As well as ensuring that you have all the business and technical knowledge you need, the program gives you the chance to make a real impact on our day-to-day business, as well as longer-term projects. There’s also the chance to gain broader experience across a second, related area over a further four to six months. This will give you a valuable insight into an area outside your own. In parallel to this, you can expect specialized formal or classroom training to strengthen your specialist and social skills.
